- I am a textile artist, painter and mom living in Ottawa, Canada. I have two gorgeous little girls who require most of my attention. Whatever energy is left over goes into producing STUFF for pinkwagon. I try hard to make silk purses out of sow's ears. Well, you know, not literally. Please. I mean that I like to upcycle, make the formerly disposable into something pretty and useful. About every 5 minutes, I think I should get a government job, straighten out and fly right. Sometimes I wish I could get prettied up and go to work. Then I remember how valuable and important the work of other artists is to me, and I get my nose to the grindstone.
